The Woodford County Board of Health is composed of twelve residents of Woodford County.  State law mandates the disciplines represented on the Board.  These disciplines are a registered nurse, dentist, optometrist, engineer, veterinarian, pharmacist, consumer, and three physicians.  The Woodford County Judge-Executive serves along with a fiscal court appointed representative.  Each member serves a two-year term except the Judge-Executive who serves during his/her term in office.  The Chairman of the Board is elected each year by the Board.  The Board of Health meets quarterly and the meetings are open to the public.  Contact information for each Board member is available from the health department.
